I was told it mentioned butter(which couldn't be dairy free), so I got another recipie. One that didn't mention butter.

I think the original recipe and hence original issue was that you said (can't be bothered going back through the pages and pages and pages since then... :whistles: ) it was dairy free and gluten free and it had both butter and flour in it.... Nothing more!

Ingredients
225g unsalted butter, softened
225g caster sugar
4 eggs
finely grated zest 1 lemon
225g self-raising flour
For the drizzle topping
juice 1½ lemons
85g caster sugar

Here we go... I had just taken it that you said it in jest, but... I'd gone to bed by then!

Morning all... Sorry to hear about you ladies suffering..Have a virtual sympathetic supportive squeeze...
MDB, you've done enough squeezing...
Had a weak and wobbly day myself yesterday, bit of a sleepy attack one too...
Man coming to do a EPC report on the house soon, should be easy, it's a Victorian workers cottage, no cavity walls to insulate and no loft either... boiler is about 35 years old and on it's last legs... I'll just get him to tick the lowest energy efficiency ratings he's got and send him on his way!

Won't be posting much this week as we will be doing stuff with Junior, hopefully.

Might give the Aqua Park at Blackpool a go.

The weather here is quite rough this morning, we have had hail & snow & still have high winds, looks very cold out too, but I won't open the door yet to check

Later I will cancel my Cycling Active subscription & maybe take out a new one for Bikes Etc (which I prefer).

I would get the app version but don't have an I-Pad tablet thing & can't be bothered with the laptop, so print version it will be.
