I could be shovelling s**** this month and it wouldn't bother me:okay:
The job has been repetitive for the last near 38 year..

cut grass, plant bedding, prune shrubs, pick up litter, clean out streams and their grids and on and on etc...
And all outdoors Bob, where office workers gaze longingly all day...hoolies, monsoons, arctic gales, thunder storms, blistering midge infected heat and forever growing grass. No wonder you're so happy all the time. :okay:

I am...
Its been fun...
been working outside except for 8 month inside a factory..
phew 45 years :okay:

Nothing to beat tossing grit about in minus 8 with a howling snowy northerly gale...then three months cutting grass behind a big hot orange machine in 70 plus degrees.

Phew, need a cuppa, :cuppa: Aaaahhhh....

Evening all.
I am a tad late....have been helping the ex fix my car....all was going slowly, but well....
The spring had broken and we needed to remove various parts to remove the broken spring. We eventually got that done (with some improvised tools) but couldn't compress the new spring enough to get it back on!
I have ordered a new tool which is bigger than the one we have......
The car is currently wheelless and up on an axle stand until it arrives and we can finish the job - possibly the weekend or early next week.
