Where is everyone? I've only been up since 3:15am
Morning. Up and coffee drinking. Not sure what to do though. Tried a jog yesterday and was forced to walk for a wee bit. Don't know what's up with me. My legs have been feeling so heavy and weak. Going to docs Tuesday to ask to get some bloods done for the usual suspects like anaemia, thyroid and diabetes. If they all come back clear, I think I am going to have to suspect either just a viral thing or the pressure on nerves from my discs is starting to cause more problems. Hate the thought of having to give up proper exercise but I'm certainly not really enjoying it at the moment. Gives me just a small glimpse of how you must be feeling Emma

You will find alternatives. You don't like swimming do you?
Could you take up power walking instead? That Irish craze?

Detest swimming. I already walk a lot with the pooch and usually stride out at a decent pace. I was enjoying the jogging, but maybe it is annoying my back and I need to stick to the cycling. Hopefully once we get this wet and windy weekend out of the way, the weather will improve and I'll get cycling more again.

Has a feeling you did. I love it... Just got to get to the point where I can get there! And afford it. I don't get free swimming anymore and doubt I can wrangle that on the NHS with my weight being 'healthy'.

Or, just a thought, try eliminating wheat from your diet. I know if I eat white flour food it feels shortly afterwards I have two Scot's Pine trunks for legs plus I feel so tired and sluggish. Or it could be some sort of other intolerance to modern genetic dabbling of the food chain. They have even messed up oor oats.

Good morning Mrs SNSSO, looks like I'm the only boy here (on this page)...
Morning to you non wheat eater, anti swimmer and thunder you get what I mean...

Swimming, us old gits get it free down here...
Morning to those still snoozing or up to no good
Morning... Not sure swimming in the river weaver is the best move, but it would be free... I'm not certain my back would manage being in and out... Perhaps that's how I could wrangler free swimming... Cycle there on the trike, might take me a few months first though... Goes off to think about this.. Well life in bed and order my husband a birthday card, among with a mother's day (not for him I will clarify) and a thank you card... Then some more disability side because it looks like this may be permanent sadly and I need to make life easier. Finally I need to prefer some extra bits for my trike to make mounting garmins, water bottles and bags and lights easier as well!

Keep in there on the trike..:okay:
my handlebars need more room for bits and bobs, I got a ram mount( for handlebars) and the specialized one for my Etrex gps.' yes' they said 'its a universal fitting, any other accessory will use it', I buy a chinese copy go pro(SJ 4000)..I email ram mount, no you need this mount. $42 worth..yes the word of the company and my thoughts combined. Ram *t..£4 later a cracking aluminium mount off ebay.
We can overload with electronic goodies.
Why was cycling so simple when Bob was a boy..Bing was king as well

Anyhoo..
enough rambling, gotta walk to work today..I did think of nike but winds in the high 20s at lunctime with gusts in the 40s kinda dampened that idea...it's almost a 500ft rise back home and into that wind? no chance although I'd have detoured to get some miles in..

Bye girls and any lads around, have a nice one:hello:
