I've not heard a dawn chorus in my little bit of South Gloucestershire since last year, generally there has been a lack of birds since the council purchased a nearby patch of undeveloped scrubland and covered it in concrete to provide parking space for a school which is also expanding, taking the trees out with it.

we had a chorus this morning, usual street dwelling type birds + those on the bankings of the old railway line at the bottom of the street.

We have a mahoosive old brute of an Owl who lives in a turret (for want of better description) in the old cemetery chapel in the Cemetery obs

Just listened to a wonderful dawn chorus.

Clear and frost overnight, calm and the airplane trails are all pink at the moment. Apparently I have until 11am before it rains!

Not enough cycling!
I averaged about 85.5kg all last year until about November, then for some reason, it dropped down to about 81kg and stayed there. I blame a slightly more challenging commute and paying more attention to what I shove down my gob during work lunches.
