Then the Australia/UK time difference will change from 11 to 10 hours, Then a week later, we end Daylight Savings, and the time difference becomes 9 hours. Everyone clear on that, right?

I thought there was talk of them ending the daylight savings? Doesn't seem to have been debated any more again. In this modern world of fancy technology and reflectives and powerful lights I can't see that there is really any need for it now.

It'd only really benefit those down the Southern end of the island though, if they did.
Would it be darker mornings or evenings if they did scrap it? Higher accident rate in the darker period the last time they tried scrapping it.
