I have new toys! I bought a new Samsung tablet a few days ago and now a leather folio case with bluetooth keyboard that I ordered for it has arrived. The keyboard is on charge now...
I also bought a wireless cycle computer to fit on the touring bike, that's just arrived via postie too... Oh, and a spare chain and some spare inner tubes. And a tent.

Leisurely dressing gown clad coffee and brekkie then the ongoing fight with the clutter continues for the day, later on it's the kids arriving for their weekend stayover so that'll be more clutter, not less, for a few days!

I must admit I wasn't looking for a new tablet until I was designated as blogger/recorder of our trip and started thinking about what to take for writing on. This thing with the keyboard case seems to be ideal in that they can be charged by the adaptors in the car without big power bricks, thus keeping it all light and compact to take.

I have a Nexus 7 but the recent system update from Google has made it unreliable and power drains really quckly now. The new one is a Samsung 10.1 Pro, massive screen resolution and has a Micro SD so I can transfer pics, everything seems to be going OK in testing so far.. apart from convincing the powers that be that playing on it IS necessary testing....
