Morning all :hello:
Still in PJs but been up a while. Hubster left at half past 6 this morning, dear me he makes a racket. Lolled in bed for another quarter of an hour or so but there was no way that I was dropping off for an extra 20 mins so I got up and made a cuppa.
Dogs all fed, second cuppa beside me, laundry out on the line while it's still fine. Guitar practice is calling. I have w*** today, or at least I should have. I'm assuming that the message that I left my client to remind her that I was coming today, got through.
Think I'll do mine at 8pm tonight, with no headphones and the amp ramped up.
My considerate (NOT!) neighbours are re-fitting their loft...haven't bothered to let us know and hubby has been woken for the second day (they know he's on night shifts). He's going nuts
I wonder how they'll enjoy my playing disturbing their two young kids....
Of course, I'm not that mean and won't, but I am so mad.

Just for those with mucky minds....

Ive never done trout fishing. I always did course fishing at packington, and Kingsbury water park, and on the avon and the severn. Carp, tench. Roach, rudd, bream, crucians etc.

I'll pop up and practice then. 8pm you say? I have a Strat and a Fender Mustang Amp. I reckon that we can have some fun  How's your Malmsteen?

Seriously, do a bit of practice, put your headphones on but 'forget' to plug in  I have done that accidentally a couple of times early evening. Genuinely accidentally as when I'm learning something new, I don't want outside disturbances and I really don't want the neighbours to know how crap I am.

Hey, some people probably pay for a bit of fish-hooking... Not that I know anyone who would...

I have a fishing rod I inherited from my Grandpa, still in really good condition - never, ever been fishing though.

Worth a try is the old fishing, its not expensive if your just a fun angler..very good for clearing the mind on a nice day. Cycling works too..

Fished all my life..
Fly, Coarse and sea gear lying in a cupboard downstairs plus I tie all my flies for the troot
(which wag wants to make the first joke about tying yer flies?)
Once I get settled, the fly fishing gear will be out.
