For the price paid I think I might throw it.....
at our neighbours....
More of which later.
& now it is later...
Our neighbours 3 doors down are tenants of a private landlord that we know & have always got on well with, she is a nice woman & was one of the first round ours when Junior pitched up.
Anyway, they are a young couple with a new baby, but they are just kids themselves, the lad is 21.
They have a dog which is (I think) a cross between a whippet & summat else.
The problem is that he seems to hardly ever walk the dog & they leave it barking out in the back yard for hours at a time, even late at night, which sets off the monitor we still use for Junior.
It's bark is loud & quote deep & booming & when the weather is warm we can't leave Junior's wimdow on the catch because the dog wakes her up.
A week or so ago now, the couple went away over night & left the dog out all night, it was having a
MENTAL !!
Then last week the lad was out with his mates yapping loudly till around 3.30 a.m.
Having already got rid of a drug dealer & his cannabis farm next door a few years ago, we just don't need it.
Doesn't help that me & the Mrs are not best friends either, she has been banging on about sometimes 4 or 5 times an hour, seems like it's all she can say, "Have you heard that dog" etc, so not only do I have to listen to the dog & deal with Junior waking up because of it, I also have to endure the constant referencing by SWMBO.
It all came to a head the other day when I spotted the lad coming down the street & I said "Have you come back to let your dog in pal" ?
Anyway, I gave it some I am bigger & harder than you posturing without actually stating it or making threats...
... apart from when I told him that every time his dog barked I would go round & bang on his door.
He was quite apologetic to be fair, but then he was the last time (when Mrs went round), she is much more even tempered than I am.
Txts were exchanged between SWMBO & the landlord & the landlord turned a bit nasty, turns out she has been under a lot of personal stress over something & not her normal self.
Good news is...
We reached a compromise, the lad brought the Mrs a bottle of Rose' & apologised again & the Mrs apologised to both of them for being a bit bolshie when she knocked on.
Now, if only he could start walking the poor mutt instead of it walking round in it's own $#1T in the back yard.

War & Peace over
