Oh my! that shiny stuff..
Blimey! Who would want it? At least value toilet paper has some semblance of absorbency, that stuff is worse than useless.
Write it off as a tax loss!Blimey! Who would want it? At least value toilet paper has some semblance of absorbency, that stuff is worse than useless.
I must say, that is a sentence I never thought I would type.
That's the stuff. Couldn't remember the name. Scratchy as hell and didn't really do the job if you know what I mean. Lol

Just round the corner from the Guinness in TescosIt's not one I've ever been inclined to want to read either, but then I've just gone and posted something similar.![]()

Hey, don't laugh. I might be feeling and looking like an OAP at the moment, but I grew up with an outside loo! no inside one. It was just outside of the front door, and in the dark it was often mistaken for the coal shed... which was as close to being alongside it as you could get!My granny had an outside loo. Can't remember if the toilet roll was old newspapers or that scratchy paper. Lol.
Zan Izal or newspaper?Hey, don't laugh. I might be feeling and looking like an OAP at the moment, but I grew up with an outside loo! no inside one. I must be well posh then, our council house had a loo inside and one outside as well! Best of both worlds.Hey, don't laugh. strangely I have no memory of the toilet paper at home, but I know all newspaper went to lighting the fire because we had no central heating and only 2 coal fires in the house for heating and the sitting room was never ventured into without permission! (mind you it was too bl**dy cold to venture into in the first place and that is saying something)Zan Izal
This was a council house, but it was a rural one, by itself on the very edge of what was then a village. Now it calls itself a village but unless you grew up there you can't tell where one 'village' ends and the next one starts.I must be well posh then, our council house had a loo inside and one outside as well! Was the inside one for guests and Sunday best?I must be well posh then, our council house had a loo inside and one outside as well! Best of both worlds.
Mine too, ours was up the top of the hill away from the main village. I must say it is beautiful. My mum and Dad still happily live in the house to this day.strangely I have no memory of the toilet paper at home, but I know all newspaper went to lighting the fire because we had no central heating and only 2 coal fires in the house for heating and the sitting room was never ventured into without permission! Heheheh, We used to make my Dad go out there while Mum, me and little sis used indoors. Funny thing is, Dad still goes out there now, it is only the cold of winter that drives him inside. Was the inside one for guests and Sunday best?![]()
We did. We have an annual pass. We were there 2 1/2 hours and came home again. The US Exhibition is shut, which is a shame really as it's always nice and warm in thereAre you going to the museum?
I've always fancied a trip there.
