Good evening..today I am somewhere near Nantes...last night we slept in a boat in a port at Redon, it had no electricity, no fresh water and the 'facilities' were a little less than convenient. However it is character building and a bit of an adventure so we just got on with it.
Gritty wet sand has eaten our brake blocks so we're taking a rest day with a Decathlon visit to administer new blocks..the rims on mine have worn the wear line off though so hoping things improve before I'm left with a visit to buy some new wheels as well..not in the budget...
Just looked at the forecast while we have internet...wish I hadn't....
Never mind, vino, bread and cheese plentiful, warm dry clothing rarer but welcome..

I'm on a bike, in France and it is peeeeesing down every day... Yeah, we're looking forward to drier and sunnier times and they can't come soon enough really but it's all good fun. Met some good people, getting loads of stories and being very tired...
