I have just been perusing the Lancashire Road Club site as I am 'thinking' of taking the plunge.

I have come to the conclusion that part of the reason I cycle infrequently is that I get bored of my own company ....

So it might be time to go & bore someone else.

The Sunday runs that head towards Cheshire pass through Leigh going to Warburton Bridge.

If you pass through @stephec 's way too slowly the locals can strip your wheels & cassette off while your still moving.

Times of the rides might be my biggest stumbling block, certainly midweek as they clash with the school run.
