Good morning folks :hello:
Parcel duties
Hopefully out after:okay:

Enjoy your day
Wee bit misty here just now but will burn off. Better cycle over and see dad. The old duffer crashed into a ditch yesterday on his mobility scooter! God knows how he managed it. His eyesight is terrible and I worry that next time it will be another vehicle he hits  Still talking about taking it our for another run.

Just when I thought he was doing a bit better and I could relax for a bit. He will have me 6 foot under before him at this rate with the stress.

That is a concern Mo.
I suppose its good he is trying to be independent but there are big risks and its you that may end up dealing with it.

These scooters can fair move.
I met a bloke in Greenock last time I was down that way and he was cruising on the pavement in front of me (shared pavement!!) then suddenly stopped and jumped off it and ran into a shop, took exception at my suggestion he was an eejit:laugh:
I left quick before he could catch me:laugh:

Hopefully just a blip, Mo
Stay cool

He was away up the Dunning Glen road almost into Clackmannanshire! He lost his driving licence 4 years ago because someone reported his erratic driving and his eyesight and judgement have got much worse since then.

One of the guards was moaning about a mobility scooter that he had to get the ramp for to get the beast on the train.
He said as soon as the bloke got it one the train he hopped straight off it and walked to a seat right as rain.
There have been a few incidents in the news recently of people being bowled over by scooters. They can certainly move at a fair old speed.
I went to Benidorm a few years ago and on the way in it was just like the tv show, they were everywhere. It makes you wonder if everyone actually needs them.
A lot obviously totally rely upon them for assistance but there are the odd one or two you wonder about.
