Upset, that was ride time and in my mind could have done sub 5 easily in good day.
Roads appalling and descents were really sketchy.
Also had puncture which would make actual time longer however looking purely at ride time.
Must enter ballot and try to get in and have another go as I feel unfinished business.

Morning. Cool and dull here with the prospect of showers. No cycling to watch if it isn't nice later. I always feel slightly glum when great events like the Tour de France, Olympics, World Cup, etc are all over again. Telly is never very exciting in the summer apart from the sport. Even Poldark finished last night.
