Yes, it's brightened up here now. Was blooming chilly on the early donder though. A real autumnal nip in the mornings now and tomorrow is to be even colder.

It was mild last night around these parts, I went to watch a local non league footie game and it was a pleasant evening.

Yip dark commutes for me again, how quickly the light summer mornings pass.
To be honest I prefer commuting in the dark as I feel safer as I'm lit up like a Christmas tree.

Morning Bit damp and dreich at the moment but supposed to be a decent day once it dries up. Not sure what the day holds.

Time to start looking out for hedge trimming in the country

I remember that. A puncture a day until I got myself into gear with some plastic inserts for my tyres, suddenly I went from one a day to one every ten years or so. I still use the inserts 20 years later, but thankfully in this region there are no hedges therefore no trimming...

I think we're about four weeks behind here: It's stiill summery, late summer but the leaves are barely beginning to turn. Summer/Autumn changes late and fast here: we go from t-shirts to double thinkness fleeces in a week or two.

On the other hand, the jump from spiked tyres back to T-Shirts is pretty fast too.

When you say no hedges, are fields walled off instead?
