Morning blue :sun:sUNS OUT ITS 9DGRS Here and not even lunchtime:heat:
One could add about 20 to that temp here - the uv index is at 8 at the moment and the air is still. I'll have to leave my daily hike until 4pm and even then I know it will be a sweat fest today.

We will be heading home in just over 2 weeks and whilst sad to be leaving Cyprus we agree it is starting to get too hot here. The locals aren't expecting any rain until October! The problem isn't just the heat though - it's the high humidity, which makes the summer nights as hard to take as the heat of the summer days. Despite knowing that we couldn't take the summer here we are expecting to be on a massive downer when we get home because we have had such a great time here.

2 other UK couples spent the winter in the same apartment block and they are both home as of yesterday. However, like us they have already booked return flights!!

I think humidity is the killer. I lived in Egypt for a while and found it bearable because it was dry heat. I've never understood why people like going to Florida! But do you have air-con? That makes a difference.
