German carbonated drinks seem to be rather more gassy than their British counterparts: we even have carbonated water instead of tap water, Germans being a bit funny about tap water.

We've carbonated water over here, more down South than up here.

Carbonated drinks were invented in Leeds.1767, Joseph Priestley on a visit to a brewery, on what was later Vickers factory. Now home to the "Dalek", bank data centre and hotel.

Change of plan. Just had his doctor on the phone and they are taking him down to Ninewells in Dundee for more specialised tests. I,m not trailing away down there and coming home in busy traffic as it’s getting dark. Thankfully, he understands and doesn’t expect it.

We did and it was chaotic at Broxden...
had to pop into MaccyD's for a McFlurry
and I still don't know why we keep going through Glasgow..
Stirling, Drymen, Balloch was the choice but left later than expected....

a totally random shopping trip...
