It did. Shame it was a misly morning though..The steam looks fab though!!

Well done. I admire you for doing it!Hi all,
Time for an afternoon cuppa for me. Just got back from a meeting with the Sackville Refugee Response Coalition - which I will now be a part of, as a member of their Communications team.It feels good to be a part of something that makes a difference in the lives of others. Salaam, neighbour.
It was like winter here yesterday! Only a tad warmer today.Wots happening in ere then? About as much as in the other place tonight? Lol. I'm sitting here in my pj,s with the window still wide open it's so warm. Been another scorcher.![]()
I'm not going to comment on that... except to say that earrings are not welcome there. What is the other place. Do you need a special handshake to get in?

I like a bit of steam! (innuendo intended @stephec). When I was a kid our council house backed onto marshland and beyond that the railway line - along which the Puffing Billy (as we dubbed it) used to go! We always rushed out in the garden to watch it pass. I must look up what it was really called. I'm talking about Portsmouth (and we lived in Farlington). I think it went from Hayling Island into Portsmouth. The steam looks fab though!!

What a lovely old train. I would have preferred to have listened to the mechanical puffing noises though. Maybe it was a silent movie, being so long ago!?
