Everything went well today and we have sale agreed on the 2nd property, subject to survey and getting a high enough mortgage(initial telephone enquiry a week or so back indicated that we should be fine). We both felt the property was more suited to our needs both now and in the future.

The property needs work but I think it has great potential - possibly more so than property 1, which also needed work.

I spent so long making notes concerning finances prior to talking to the BS that their lines were closed by the time I phoned this evening. At least I'm ready with my figures for tomorrow.

This might take a lot of the stress out of the move for me.
