Nope, Germany, or at least this region, closes down for the 25th and 26th.

Cutting toast became much easier after I became a cabinet maker, for some reason.
Funnily the breadknife I finally cracked it with was an Ernesto special from Lidl..
and that is the way it should be, all workers should have both days off..
mind you I did work a few Boxing Days in the 70s and 80s as 3x time or 2x plus a day in lieu were too good to miss.
Any wood work I've done normally involved a power saw....
I can't wield a saw for some reason, more likely I keep picking the wrong type of teeth.....
some day.

G'day all :hello:

We had a light dusting of snow on the Belfast & Antrim Hills, none here.

Two car loads shifted and the car partly loaded again this morning. We'll fill some more boxes after our break and then shift a 3rd load. Attic and garage now emptied(the garage had been full of boxes that we filled a few months back). The rooms are starting to look bare as the books and ornaments get boxed and shifted.

Owdo, the worker

A "Light dusting" is no good.

At this rate you'll have everything moved over by the end of the year. Out off the old, into the new.

Didn't you used to go early morning on a Sunday for bread?

Crosscutting or ripping.

One day...
Any use of a hand saw..
I'm better with a circular one although I once cut the 4x4 posts above a fence levelled with a chainsaw before putting a cap on each:laugh:

Carry on regardless, folks:okay:

You mean his plans keep going a rye.

Were they level when you'd done though.

Carry on doing not a lot!
