You can never be too careful.
Very true: that's why I fitted a chinstrap on my tin foil hat.
You can never be too careful.
Dead animals are the remit of the Council cleansing dept.....You'll never get over it unless you face your fear straight on. Break out the sewing box and sew something.
Why's there a binbag coming out of his back pocket.
Why's he not keeping an eye on the dangerous end.
How'd it get there, how many more.
You'll say you're scared of snakes next.
Fastened on both sides?Very true: that's why I fitted a chinstrap on my tin foil hat.
Environmental Health department down here, first port of call. They'll then contact the appropriate department, who'll then contact you. By which time it may well have "disappeared".Dead animals are the remit of the Council cleansing dept.....
strange thing is they normally use green bin bags...
but this is on housing association land,
not the usual council 'don't knock me down' jackets...
Rumours are abounding of snakes being spotted everywhere
Bin Bag robber last year..
apparently two mystery men made her do it

No snakes on the loose here. We'd a lion a few years ago.

Well, it wasn't quite like that!!
For once, Mrs B's dementia came in handy. The activity at the vaccination centre made Mrs B confused, anxious and tearful but the staff were watching us as I'd alerted them to the dementia issue and we were rushed through to the top of the line and were back home before the time I thought we would just be leaving the hospital. All went well.![]()
The only issue was the drive there as we went through the city because of the weather and I suddenly found myself in a bus lane that didn't exist the last time I drove that road - that's £45 if I got filmed, before I got out of the lane, and pay the fine within 14 days, oh well! In general I think I discovered I'm no longer suited to driving in a city - esp., on a dark wet night during rush hour! Mrs B used to say that she found driving in Bangor to be like driving in some sleepy village and I now believe her![]()
From the way you've worded it, you're not too keen on needles?Mrs B is pain free - but then she's always like that with the flu jab. I have a minor ache - but then I'm always like that with the flu jab!
When we were getting our jabs I was paying so much attention to Mrs B that I didn't even notice the needle going in!
I must say that the Centre was very well staffed and organised and that the staff and volunteers were excellent. I was amazed by the level of care and compassion shown to Mrs B. NI at it's best.
No lollipops, but Mrs B got a packet of tissuesFrom the way you've worded it, you're not too keen on needles?
Why make someone worse, if they can avoid doing so.
I only mentioned the sore/numb arm as it's been mentioned a bit on here. Good to hear that both of you got through unscathed.
Did you get a lollipop for being brave!
No lollipops, but Mrs B got a packet of tissues
I don't mind needles - I've even administered jabs to cats and people - different jabs, at different times. That's probably why I didn't notice it going in as I was watching out for Mrs B and just let the staff get on with the job.

Run, you want me to run? They say don't run in a straight line, zig zag if you want to get away.
Let us know if it works.
Refreshments, at this time.
I reacted badly to my flu jab two years ago,'Morning all
Dry at the moment, but it looks like it could start raining again at any moment. There was quite a bit of flooding in the fields and standing water on the main roads in to Belfast yesterday.
Side effect report:
Arm more painful, although not bad.
Slight headache last night and this morning
Mrs B - nothing to report.
In other words - just like a flu jab.
