Oh, there wasn't anything wrong with the translation; it's just not the way it would be said. That's one of the difficulties of translation that I have when translating songs; the literal translation isn't always how it would be said. An example would be where we say "both" the literal translation of the Greek would mean "and the two" - 'και οι δύο' - so when you see that in a particular context it translates as 'both'.
I came across the issue when ordering "another 2 beers please" in a bar last winter. I used the exact Greek for my order and a Cypriot who was beside me at the bar told me that whilst what I said was grammatically correct it's not what they say. Instead the order was 'το ίδιο' which simply means 'the same'. It's a very direct language like that.
