Meant to say, a Spitfire flew over me as I got near home, heading to Cumbernauld Airport.
Two lorry drivers thought I was kidding but it does paid experience flights, I think its nearby for a couple of days

Canals tend to be water filled, stick to the towpath. You never know, the young 'un may just prefer that, to being pushed around.

been 53 years since but I am sure I can pick it up again
Mind you, I think I'd struggle to get in one

There might be strange appenings around t'umber, but that's in the East, I'm in the West near a river that does flow into t'umber.

Get a Canadian canoe and you can erect a small tent like structure up front. Then just go with the flow for minimum effort.
