Part of the group, not taken over.
Don't quite understand tho' I admit to being easily confused. I though that Yorkshire were part of the same group and also taken over. Seem to remember that being written somewhere but cannot remember where. Possibly in some of the load of bumf { too hard and shiny unfortunately] which came from our new masters of finance.

As far as I'm aware they weren't taken over, just formed part of the new "bank" as a partner.

Down here, it's former Yorkshire Bank buildings that have been used.
Our only local bank is the Clydesdale and I think still has that name on it but the account has changed name and soon the credit card is also going to change. Probably still Mastercard but in very small print somewhere.
Not been in the branch since the start of the pandemic but drive past quite often tho’ never looked at the name on it. Must check the next time I am passing.
We had 4 banks when I came here in 1972.

We've lost the RBS, BoS and TSB branches. The rest have closed their outlying branches, leaving only the town centre branch.

You can't miss the tawdry red frontage..
They spent a few quid with all the new outside (and inside) signage in nearby Stenhousemuir (our nearest) and now, it is closing early '22.
I'm surprised there are no charges for the 'hole in the wall'....yet..

Morning. Chilly oot but an early donder done.

Talking of banks, even the little village of Dunning I grew up in with a population of barely 1,000 at the time had a bank. Now here in Crieff, we have nearly lost them all with only a part time BOS remaining.

It'll get you later.

Of your own creation, no nuts!
Looks cheap and tacky on the one here. As for hole in the wall charges, watch this space

Oot earlier than usual for the donder?
Not everyone needs to use a bank though. Or so they say.
