Don't they have a wheel at each corner, allowing you to move them whilst loaded?

I got let loose on the sweet trolley..
made industrial sized trifles etc
massive sponge cakes, none of that add 8oz of flour stuff, it was lbs of in the mix

How early. Did it test positive and is now in isolation for 10 days.
No good shaking yer booty if there's no-one it'll connect with.

You were making the deserts, not just delivering them to the rooms. As for being "let loose on the sweet trolley" it doesn't bear thinking about.

The pastry chef did a runner so I learned quickly (with a book of the chef's recipes)
that's why i got offered a commis chef job just to make up the sweet trolley amongst other things..

Must have been in a rush if he left his book behind.
Just think of what you might have been doing now, had you taken the job up.
You'll have had to test what you were making, isn't it some sort of requirement that goes with the job?

Took off in the middle of the night, happened a few times.

I got to do them..

what happened to traditional good fried egg breakfasts..
mind you can't beat a good Ulster fry..
remember my first up the Antrim Rd plus one more memorable thing about Belfast..
garden peas in a beef curry..

No, I have visited since
I could still find my way there (I assume it is)
I had intended a cycle around the coast, ending at the beaches in Donegal...
Ferry costs put paid to that so for the same cost,
I got the ferry to Mull and back,
I cycled round there instead..
all accommodation and food
and covered the petrol..
in defence, I did want to go in a couple of days ahead..
fair weather cyclist me
Reminds me of the day, we travelled up to Carrick-a-rede (from Courtown) and due to high winds the bridge was closed
Off then to the Giant's Causeway..
we walked down and all looked at each other and said 'Is that it?'
Long's was shut as it was the 12th holiday
we caught the midday ferry the next year...
