You ever get earache over the names you chose.

Scots connections, wouldn't that be in the family?

How old was the Olde Jamaica, still good to eat.

Dunt look that bad, chopped a bit of the flower off, but otherwise...

I was leaning over and balancing the bike, bad move and never checked the image after I took it...
An excuse to head back along the banks next trip,
plenty wildlife about, ducks aplenty, swans the usual small flocks along the tree lined bits..
roe deer in the nearby fields on the straight

and a man or two up a pole...

Quick autofocus then.
You get stung in t'nettles I'll assume.
Any excuse needed to go back, other than filling yer freezer.

Is that a "pole climber" in use by the man lower down the pole? Seen them, never seen one actually being used. Still use the strap and front/side spikes down these parts, or as is getting more common a cherry picker.

Take it you were talking to them then.
It attacked you, as you went to catch it on the canal. You used the wrong bread maybe. I'd a goose nip my hand as I went to catch it. Must of known it was destined for the dinner plate.
Kinda greasy, ducks. And not much on them for the size.
Liverpool lost then.

You don't support any of the home teams! I dunno...

You'll have to train that duck to come back when called. Not go wandering off on its own.

Owdo
You got sun?
It's unofficial sun, sun you shouldn't have, hand it back.
Overcast but dry here.

Home team?
How home is this, laddie...
scapa 2 edited.jpg

Tenement building I was born in (circa '53:whistle:)
Top flat right hand side..
the factory to the left Joy Sullivan was built circa 1948 and the Holy Ground (Cappielow Park) had an enclosure - north side-(The Cowshed) was built circa 1958, I think..
the factory had been built in the 'Backlands' where a high proportion of residents were migrants from Ireland..
Hence the west end terracing being called the Wee Dublin End,
all changed now as our tenement was demolished circa 67-68....
and I know I'm not home now BUT you never lose yer first love:laugh:

Sun still showing its face occasionally...

Now that's local. Did you support the home team though?
And the factory just down the road, would have been an easy commute.

Easy see, now, where you got your liking of Irish things. Guinness fer instance.

Anywhere you live is home...

Still got sun, that's unfair.
