I've just checked the digital heating thermostat and it reads 26 C. It was the same yesterday!

Yes. Its just hot. Cooler outside now, I think. I can't open windows in the front room as the traffic noise so loud.

Went for half an hours walk with the dog and its definitely cooler out than in - and I discovered that walking magically makes my swollen ankles go down! New year's resolution: walk for at least an hour a day.
