Morning all :hello:
A return back to the uncomfortable WX, some folk love the heat..
Me? I hate it with a passion....
Knotted hanky time:laugh:
Stay cool....
Owdo
You'd prefer the deep midwinter! They say they do, then moan it's too warm...
It's not all bad, perfect excuse for doing very little other than "chilling"...
Feet in a bowl of water and it'll be like being at the seaside.
If it gets warm.

And now they're lead to believe that it's not safe to be in open space on their own.
I've been a wandering round the local parts since a similar age as yourself. Probably with the same results as yerssen.

A "first", this late!
Novel for you.

The Irish one seems to be in the Castlebar area, County Mayo. Far side of Ireland West(Knock) Airport. Very little from any direction other than the east.
Nice going by the way. Care to explain the text alongside each contact? And don't forget to award yourself a cold one for each genuine meteor reflection.
How early is early morning, daylight on the horizon?
And watch what you say when transmitting. There could be alien life using the meteor shower to get in.
Early to bed, early to rise...

Each 'pink' bit on map is 'Time since, and signal strength received by them....
OdB is a medium-strength signal scale, ranging from -32 to +30.
I would be happy anytime with that report....
Too early for anything alcoholic....
Mind you, this uncomfortable mugginess isn't my idea of fun.
LOL at aliens saying 'That's the Bob'
Think they reckon it peaked overnight
Quiet now with no pings reported...
I'll pop back later on and see if anything doing...

I just am not a summer fan...
I would suffer greatly living abroad, bad enough in this mugginess,
How I managed to have an outside working life beats me....
Roll on autumn...
I'm off to cut my grass, sadly the green stuff round the back..

Please note I have no other grass.....

Simple, when you explain it like that.
Fair enough, given the exceptional circumstances, meteor shower, involved. To match it next time now ...
There's always water, maybe even lemonade as you sit there, knotted handkerchief on't head....
It can't be that bad up there, in the cold north! Spare a thought for those down south "enduring" similar temperatures whilst moaning it's too warm.
Could be all those radio transmissions of yours that attracted them!!

No lover of summer, if it's a warm one.
Does that rule out retiring to Australia's great outdoors then?
Imagine an indoor working life in this weather. It's only recent years that have seen buildings with aircon fitted. Every door possible open and hope there's a breeze.
You'll have it done by now, won't you?

No front garden in need of cutting...

Funnily I'd an offer to become a Ten Pound Pom in 1964/65,
my cousin and family who took me in were emigrating to Oz...
I said no,
so back to my dad (long story)
I sometimes wonder....
Funnily talking with a member of the Bob Mob this morning and saying how one little thing pointing you in the wrong way can totally change everything. Would I have had a better life than I have had if I'd sailed away?
Who knows, the next 6/7 would have been but would I have met the delightful (checks over shoulder) Mrs M...
Oh well, who knows..
Had to pop in see nurse, now got to go see a doc tomorrow morning.....
All go...I need a beer.....cider, whatever.

I'd the advantage of working outside, van in shade a lot, a reet hard push from 8 each morning to get enough done to cover the day....and hide after 3.....
31.5c on the Bob WX station the noo...
31.8c at 13.59 a new Bob garden record since I've been here..

G'day cobber...
Stick another bit of lorne sausage (posh name for square slice)on the barbie (not the doll)

Would you have lasted yer first two years there. Some tales of not everything being as they were told by relatives who returned, or came back to visit over the years.
You'd have had plenty of space for walking in, and I'd say your liking for radio may well have sprouted even earlier. Given the vast unexplored areas.
Suppose you'd never been the camp DJ?
You'd have met a "Mr's M", just a different one to the one you did. You check over the other shoulder...
Vampires repelled and to face anew tomorrow. Eat the garlic, and keep the silver bullet handy.

You'd be no good on the roadworks down here. Push from eight, I've not seen one working yet unless you count lifting half a dozen slabs with a mini digger work. Or staring into a hole...
Maybe they're allergic to sunlight...
The new record stand for long?

Sunny side up for yer ostrich eggs I suppose.
