I am fully aware that this letter will come to you as a surprise since we haven't met but pardon my intrusion because my situation necessitated that I make this contact to you. I am a white Zimbabwean Farmer, currently in hiding in Zimbabwe. I have a substantial amount I want to invest in your country under your guidance if we are able to come to an agreement.

I am contacting you considering my present situation and the urgent need for me to have a foreign partner. More so, I have the desire to relocate so that I can purchase some land and start farming all over again including investing in a low risk guarantee business with huge returns under your guidance/supervision. If you are interested and willing to assist me, kindly respond back as soon as possible to enable me give you detailed information concerning this project and the way forward towards achieving this feat. I'll humbly advise you click on the link below to get a better/clearer understanding of my situation and why I need your assistance.

I look forward to read from you.

Regards,
John Korang.

Wow, current news item then (16 years old), and a real Rhodesian sounding name :rofl:
Tell him to ask Uncle Bob if he can leave and go to Tanzania where white farmers are welcomed :okay:

No posts today yet...........still as quiet in here then. Oh well I'll say top of the morning to you all. Already had an early tootle and breakfast. Probably have a donder before lunch then over to visit dad.

Step mum has been back and forward between hospitals and care homes and I have been busy visiting so haven't been on much. Latest is hospital phoned dad to say she had fallen out of bed this morning and was away for an xray, then phone rings again and she had managed to get hold of a phone and was phoning him to say she was demanding to get home immediately. I think she is losing the plot. No way dad can put up with her like that as she falls very easily and if her mental health is also going he would never cope. He's barely shuffling about himself.

She thinks I am hard and selfish because I don't want to go over there and be his live in carer. Usual..........unmarried daughter seems to be expected to sacrifice their own lives to care for others while the rest of the family carry on oblivious. Well, I am going to be selfish. I didn't work in a difficult and stressful job for 26 years to give up the best years of my retirement. Am I being unreasonable?

In one word, No.
Why should one person shoulder the load, when there's others could step in and help?

Ran out of posts yesterday, much to the merriment of some elsewhere.

Anyway
Morning stranger
