I am your Father
Been looking at touring bikes, nothing extreme but currently torn between something like a Surly long haul trucker with 26inch wheels, or dipping at toe in at the cheaper end with the Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative's Revolution Country 1. Either way I'll have to lose one of my current stable to accommodate it, so instead I'm seeing if a Tortec lightweight rack will fit onto my Kinesis T2 for some lightweight touring, or if the Brompton is the way forward by using the train and cycling the last 10-20 miles or so.
I also have a bike dilemma ....

I get a bit of cash back on my car trade in + a prepaid/loaded credit card that is supposed to be for fuel but can be used pretty much anywhere on anything !

Should I be a good boy & use it for fuel (which is boring but safe) or put a hefty wad down on a nice Mtb ?

I have/had my heart on a beautiful Mondraker but can only find 1 place that has my size in stock & it is not discounted & therefore out of reach, the place that had £700 off have no stock.

Do I go for 2nd choice which is also not discounted *Whyte T130s* or wait & wait until there is a Sale ?

Head says good boy ....

Heart says Bad Boy !!!
