Still DST but correct time, that'll do moi..
That N wind out would cut you in half, bitter out in it..
Trip to Greenock, talking about cold, one of Scott's Antarctic crew born along the road from where I was, I'm not the only famous Greenockian, eh? The famous 'Chippy' fellow of Shackleton's infamous expedition, passed his birthplace as well (not far from where I moved from).

I made plant clips, must look and see if any other clips have been posted since then. Always handy but once again, cheap as chips in some places.
I'll order some PLA and a grey PETG later at some point for these boxes.

Day off today....
I better go get some work done...
Just so long as you know it's right.
Similar direction here but I doubt it's as bad as what you have up there. Been blowing in an odd, compared to previous years, direction back end of last year and all this year.
The three of you all have Blue Plaques in place? Often history is a lot closer than some folk think, if only they'd think.

Edging yer bets, buying and printing them. Have you seen the price of chips these days, as for fish with them...
You planning on colour coding them?

Day off, good behaviour or summat like that.
Might as well make yerself useful I suppose...

Won't take long at that cool speed....

I haven't sampled said dish, Mrs M cooled it and is now labelled in the freezer.
It really should have been chicken TBH....

Mrs M job has hit a temporary stop, lack of a colour..
I'm ordering more later...after I see Draculette and a GC visit...

The Shackleton documentary ..
These guys were tough back then.
One of these things I go back to every so often....

Only factory fresh stuff for yourself...
Is this the lot that's coming overland to you or by other means? Overland, it should have long enough to cool down before reaching you.

A cook that never sampled what he were cooking. You sure it were you doing the cooking. Why in the freezer, what'll you be eating today.
I agree, but nowt wrong with trying summat a wee bit different every now and then.

And she's taking the delay well, not stopping any of yer privileges such as access to the goody drawer.
Vampires then the GC. You up to both in that order.

And folk complain about a hard day in the office, nowadays. At least they get to go home when the working day were over. I think we're getting soft these days.
Like watching similar stuff myself. Wondering if it'd even be allowed these days.

no blood taken, damn, I've been avoiding sugar to.

GC and nothing bought, resisted a couple of tomato plants.....

They'd be helicoptered off within days of the boat going down.....
Too many aids, HF radio, satellite phones, position aids etc etc....
not a man lost which was miraculous....
just the stubbornness of one man who bore a grudge to three who never received their Polar Medal

They said that to yer!
They still wanted to do something with yer blood. All clear or within "acceptable ranges".
Avoiding sugar, aren't you sweet enough...

Yer self restraint is getting better, almost unbelievable.

More a comparison between what people were willing to do then as opposed to now.
Always assuming they'd been able to take the things with them when the ship sank.
That not a man was lost shows how well equipped, in the mind as much as physical equipment they were. Row 800 miles in the South Atlantic. They'd lock you up these days as soon as you mentioned it.
"Chippy" was awarded the first Irish Polar Medal

Recognition from an unlikely source but well deserving...
There is a plaque somewhere, I must find it at some point, I'd ancestors who stayed in the same lane at one point in the past, quite an influx from across the water during and after the famine, my own connection was first seen in the 1841 census but mid century, the whole shebang had moved across, in laws and everything, took over almost two closes next to an old gasworks.
Yer man MADE that last journey possible and without his ingenuity, well, it could and more likely would have changed history.
He was just your 'give it to you straight' and tough if you don't like it..
Someone just wouldn't listen to nobodies advice....
There was a history of it on the trip.

Ironic that it came from Ireland though, given he wasn't the only one with Irish ancestry/Irish.
You'll have to find it now. You'll be wondering where it was, was it really there unless you do.
They went where ever they could get food, or where living was possible after the famine. Is that why yer drawn to Guinness, Irish ancestry in yer blood.
If he never MADE it, he's certainly responsible for saving it, and those that were rescued. Turning lifeboats into shelter, repairing the one they used to get help. Much like many of those lower down not considered important. Until their skills are required.
