They moved the goalposts and a continental body is dealing with it all.
I got a mail saying we have 70 cards sent back as the recipients have no facilities..
Funny as I got all the previous cards from what is called the bureau so I thought if they came from there, they were sent there by others.
I have a 3 figure sum due in and I have to check if the recipients can be sent back the way they came.
Take me off the list, that'll save all the drama I requested,
just bought 1,000 cards no long ago

Wouldn't be a result of recent events elsewhere? Can you not find a different set of goalposts... Not a federal bureau by any chance. One who's being going through your list of contacts.
Nice of them to tell you, did they say how old the cards they're returning are. Are the ones being returned from roughly the same geographical area, or spread over a wider area.
Wonder who "others" might be. Maybe they've been listening to yer singing. Having yer mail intercepted, they're onto you...
Three figure sum due which way, them to you or you to them. If I'd paid for a service, I'd not be very happy.
Now removed from their mailing list. How long before they start sending you requests to restart your subscription. A week, two...
Could you sell the cards on to another ham, get some of yer money back.

Saves me a fair bit of work even though I printed labels, so now I may have quite a few sticky labels to use up
I have just spent an hour (?) doing tweaks to logs and stuff, I tend to be a bit too fastidious at times...
Any special calls I work, a few of the ops doing them will send for eQSL or something so I just add them to the main log etc....

I got a delivery update email,
firstly, it isn't a delivery, its a takeaway of stuff.
It says we'll be with you soon..
Its for Wednesday, and then another appears wit a different time slot..
Mrs M and I are a tad confused.
At least they will here on Wednesday.

The cards, nah, they have my callsign on them....
All good fun...
but I've over 100 coming as a last drop so at least it may be 750 odd left...

I have a mango just ready for chopping up..
This AM, no porridge just fruit and whatever else I can find...

Sounds as though we're both enduring the same sort of weather. No rain today, last were Friday evening. Should any arrive, you want it all redirecting your way?
What's wrong with using a hose or watering can? It'd give you summat to do.

So France has said "Noi", and passed the handling of the cards onto another country. One which is very efficient by the sound of things. T'int this country by any chance?

Its been done through a place in NE England, more likely a volunteers big garage or something, over now to the pros on the continent, I can send direct or via somewhere down south. I upload a file of those I want to QSL, minimum of 500 and it costs just under 50 UKP to get cards printed (my style) and then cards all sent to various bureaus world wide, good idea really.
My figures for this year are 2,602 contacts as at midnight and I'm down on numbers this year...

1.5 million cards go through the UK bureau per year....a lot, eh.
Any way I'm out of it....
PS I guess if you got a QSL card from a Mrs Presley it could be valuable, uh huh?

O course, your call goes on the front...
I'll scan mine at some point...

I'm running out of stations to work as I have worked them all (not really)

I have enough proof of countries worked and certified, there is another way apart from QSL cards...
