You should be safe enough. I don't think bears have quite got the hang of ready meals wandering around.I actually don't mind rain so much when it's cold but I find in the warmer months that I get uncomfortable having to wear a jacket. Doesn't seem to matter how much you pay for a good "breathable" one, I always end up feeling like a boil in the bag meal.
The one drawback of wearing waterproofs, no matter their price. You still end up damp.
