I meant they weren't in Yorkshire (not the danes).

I was busy but I got it done quickly, I have a leaf blower/ sooker and got it going and voila, perfetto just like that coffee machine on't telly.
Be handy if it made great coffee..
Got brownie points from Mrs M.
I was going to do the back area but a drizzle appeared and just a few moments ago too.

Funnily, the King at the time, Jimmy VI of Jockland and I of der Engerlund had a previous attempt to blow him up by barrels of gunpowder in Perth 5 or was it 6 years earlier, ole Guy grassed them all in as well.

All is clear, as the occasional bang is heard in the far distance

The rumour of 'Boom bang a bang' was a popular song at the time...isn't true...
Good to hear that the Danes weren't in Yorkshire. Why should they be, unless they were raiding and pillaging...

No rake or brush for you then. You follow the easy route, save yer back. Just like the coffee machine on't telly. Why you using a coffee machine to clear up leaves? Won't it lead an odd taste in yer coffee. Leave it undrinkable almost.
Would you have preferred brownies(especially chocolate) instead of brownie points from Mrs M.
You only managed the front, were you getting help from someone by any chance. Bit late to start doing the back now, in'tit.

So you've similar reasons for the bonfires then. Guido Fawkes, the last man known to have entered the houses of parliament with honest intentions. He were found in the cellars of the houses of parliament, some of his co-conspirators caught in the days that followed. All because someone was told not to go.

We still have them going off here, with a large amount due to be set off just after midnight. The package type, where once the "display" is lit, there's no way to stop it. Money up in smoke, literally. More noise than visual display, as usual, although they're set to be quieter next year, 50% quieter on those sold for use by individuals.
Police seized over 30 tonnes of illegal fireworks from a shop in Bradford earlier this week.

You know what they say about rumours though.

Yep, it was an album by Fleetwood Mac:rolleyes:
Hell, I hand balled, brushed fallen leaves by the lorry load before they finally bought blowers for us, it was a nightmare in the dropping the leaves period, they bought in big sooky things which wasn't any use if the leaves were wet, usual balls-up by those incompetents in charge of folk who really knew what was needed.
Leaves? dry them out and sell it as herbal tobacco, I'm sure it could work.
Add some wacky flavourings, sorted.

Story I saw old Fawkes squealed, aye, classic daft move..
Old Jimmy escaped again...charmed life this bloke..

Nursey this afternoon. Hate afternoon appointments, rather early then out on the razzle..
At over 70, this normally includes a GC or two:laugh::laugh::laugh:

That's a heck of a number of bangers, badly stored I as well assume.
Anyway, off to make some log..

You were in contact with Fleetwood Mac. That is one fer the books.
Handballed, you never used a grass rake and a shovel. Think the Toodle Twins would have loved to have the chance you had.
Blowers, not rakes. And I bet they were petrol powered. Leaf falling period, you should have said you should stop the problem from happening in the first place, get the remaining leaves off the trees before they'd chance to fall. Save picking them up, and Big Sooky things might have had to be bigger!
Big Sooky thing, these technical terms for such a simple job are amazing. They still in use, or has someone introduced new ones to justify their jobs.
It wouldn't surprise me if there's people out there that have already tried smoking the dried leaves. They're plentiful, at this time of year, and free as well.

Nursey again! Is she wanting more blood from you. Worse still if they tell you not to eat or drink on the day, before the appointment. Come teatime you can be hungry, and there always seems to be more food on display when they tell you this.
Only the one or two, not the cafe's they've built onto them.

In a city centre shop as well. Same shop has been raided a number of times over the years, but still they take their money and give them a licence to sell them.
Bangers but not as you remember. These were the professional display size things. As thick as yer wrist, not yer fingers.
Make a log, can you not get one off a tree, out back perchance.
