G'day all.
Spent the day packing, cleaning and getting the car ready for the winter. This time tomorrow we'll be in our 2nd home!

Good afternoon Tea lot. Its been a strangely mild day for the time of year. I've nearly finished knitting the dog's jacket.

Its Tuesday isn't it? Tuesday is dark green, Wednesday is grey, Thursday is black, Friday is yellow, Saturday is beige, Sunday is white, Monday is pale green. Is snyone else here synaesthetic?

Me - although I didn't know what it was until you told me a while back. I had always thought it was a mixture of 'memory associations' and the various substances I abused in my youth! To me days have a smell and I sometimes see sounds as geometric shapes. However, I notice all this less as I get older.

That's sad (that you notice it less). Did you know it can be genetic? My Mum had it and my sister and all of my 4 kids do. I didn't even realise that my Mum and sister had it until a few years ago, when it happened to come up in conversation! We were all quite shocked. So if you have offspring it might be interesting to find out.
