Fine tweezers and remove it yourself. In the meantime, remove the battery(ies), to avoid further damage.

I remember how you commented that it made you feel cold when I posted an earring photo once as I had bare arms. I then did an earring picture all wrapped up in a scarf, for you! The earring posts will end soon (10 days to go, I think) but that memory is there.

I've taken out batteries on your advice. I need them anyway to use in the back-up camera. £170 plus VAT to repair the Pentax.

Pliers tomorrow...
Let the shop pull it out, if they're fixing it. Tea towel over the camera & hand if you're set on pulling it out with pliers. There's not much inside the plastic of those cards.
