Good afternoon. Rain all day until just now. I had a bit of an unfortunate moment this morning. Delivery man with parcel was hammering on the door at 8 am. I was still in bed and just grabbed a flimsy dressing gown, clutching it together with one hand and dashed down stairs. The parcel was quite large and in my blurry early morning state, I instinctively used both hands to receive it. Well you can imagine what happened. I'm standing in the doorway holding a parcel. The dressing gown has fallen apart at the front and not only is there a stationary traffic jam outside with people gawping at me but the delivery man wants a signature.

He hurriedly apologised and scuttled off saying 'don't worry, I'll sign it'. Honestly, it was quite ridiculous - I felt like someone in a carry-on film!

He can't sign for you, that'd be theft. Sackable and he knows it!
