A fantastic, and obviously heartfelt, project which has had a worthy result. Well done Motobecane, I've ejoyed every picture and will miss the daily ritual.

So will I. But I really can't sustain it any longer. Perhaps I'll post an occasional earring. This is the earring which began it all - posted back on November 14th 2015:

The last earring of the day (number 366) specially ordered for TEA (I hope you can all see what they are).
£425 has been raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind in memory of my dear departed Mum who went blind before I was born. She never saw my earrings but always liked a good feel of them! Thank you everyone for your support! I now have five shoe boxes of earrings, many of which are tangled up...

The last line of that certainly rang a bell. Saturday night lasted until 4am - pubs can stay open as long as they want here. Our regular haunt has a 'closing' time of 2am when just the Cypriots stay singing Greek songs; and that suited us, of course, so we stayed until the end.

Wondering if I should tell the three workmen where the gas main actually is.

They spent all of last week going through two concrete slabs, when they could have just moved them with less effort. But the new "smart meter" in it's new box does come close to the colour of the surrounding brickwork. Not just plain old white.

Should I tell them that's it's(the gas main) is six foot from the wall, two foot deep, and on the other side of house to where they've spent the last week working?
