G'morning all
We had a bit of a storm last night and the temperature has plummeted to 15c.
We are still suffering a bit with our colds so my afternoon hikes may not be resumed until Monday. Ah well, I've started to learn a new Greek song so I'll just continue with that as I have to work on the translation. The translation work is more difficult here because I didn't bring all my textbooks with me but I'll do my best!

Leicester are fair doing well, no big names, no prima donnas, Ranieri doing a fine job...
I'd like to see them do it, be interesting to see how they do down the stretch.

You can't apparently use Super Bowl due to copyright issues, kinda like the Olympics did in London...

Stranger things have happened a good run of 5 or 6 games could lift you clear, build confidence etc...

I watched with interest at the Liverpool fan's response of ticket prices..
the league with the highest monetary income in the world and the highest ticket prices...
money must be getting squirreled out of the game, a lot of money...
Blackpool the year they got relegated paid the owners father £30 million...
anyhow football should be cheap if so much money is coming in but when you have average players like Rooney getting over £300,000 per week..
I use average compared to the real high paid superstars of european football...

How can the German clubs do it? lower admission prices than Scottish Div 1 for most clubs...
Greed, greed...and its as if the clubs are superior to foreign opposition...
since the EPL, the national team has gone for a burton..
