Well said Mr Bob. A mixed year certainly. Some good and some bad. Some members and friends have gone to pastures New, where their help and support and friendship and is greatly valued. :notworthy:

Some it appears have been put out to pasture and what a shame and great loss that is....

I wish everyone a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year. :rose:
Back at ye, Ms WD.:rose:

Afternoon peeps. No cycling today unless I stick a sail on and go for some wind assisted segments! It's a tad gusty.

Echo what Bob and others have said. Maybe not been the best of years for myself and others but that's life and you just plod on regardless the best you can. Hope it's a happy and healthy one for all.
There's not much of this year left though!

As for the sail, think of the QOM's you could get.

I expect to be busy having a good time for the rest of 2016 so I'll wish you all a HNY now.

I've enjoyed 2016 as much as any year and I'm hoping that 2017 will be as good as usual. For those that had a poor or worse time; may 2017 bring you some cheer. I'll raise a glass to you all at midnight - that's 10pm to you! If I'm not to far out of sync with reality by 2am our time I'll raise another glass to you all, my virtual friends.

When I was waiting to unload in Lowestoft yesterday evening, the fog rolled in over the delivery yard..
It was quite ethereal, listening to 'Dark Side of the Moon' blasting out of the stereo, with the central heating gently purring away under the cab, unable to see further than the skips against the far wall!

A quick Q for @172traindriver , when the weekend works commence, and everyone has to transship to busses and coaches from the trains, do you have to lock the train up and drive the coach and passengers to the next station or do other people do that?

Rofl. He's a train driver, not a bus driver. That's hilarious.
