It was a play originally on Ms WD's morning greeting in Welsh..Where and what? @Bobby Mhor

So you're off for a surprise walk in the woods. Do you know who you'll meet, if you go down to the woods? It was a play originally on Ms WD's morning greeting in Welsh..
I replied with the Police Lyric, a doo doo dah a doo doo dah.
Young MrSte picked up on it then I just got daft....
I'm off to the woods tomorrow:
a surprise apparently.
Last time I got a surprise like this, I ended up 12 ft short of 4,000 ft on Ben Lawers (not by bike though).
I think I know where. So you're off for a surprise walk in the woods. Do you know who you'll meet, if you go down to the woods?
And be careful if the other person has a shovel!

Possibly up the Trossachs to a Killin!I think I know where.
I dunno the destination but I know the set-off place..
I reckon I'll be going up the Trossachs
Loch Katrine, Aberfeldy or Killin I reckon....
I'm convinced the eventual destination is Killin....
99% of the time I'm always wrong but the pal did mention this before...he must think I'm old and doolally
but if I see a shovel...

I've made the the local campfire scene, with many imitators I might add, at one campsite. No scythe involved. "Just give him what he seeks and he'll leave you be. But beware, fail and you will not see him on his next visit!"I wouldn't want to cross you with your scythe in the woods Mr Classic![]()

No particular time though as I'm not at work![]()

You volunteering then?Me neither...............I do enjoy retirement
Getting a bit nippy out there but a decent few days ahead if the BBC can be believed.
@classic33 Is this volunteer so that you can be assessed for driving or something??
No. I signed out of the laptop and have moved through to my bed with the iPad. As much as I would love to help, it's a tad far.You volunteering then?
Driving instructor/assessor is, I assume going to be in the front passenger seat. My independent witness, and the police officer will be in the rear seats. Don't know who'll be providing the car though.
As far as I'm aware, the test has to take place on the open road. It's to prove that I can't drive, following the return of "my" driving licence last month. All you've gotta do is hope I can't get the thing started.
Noticed you went quiet after I posted the above. Is that a NO WAY then?
