I hate overcharged batteries as much as the next guy but....

'Was' £50 for 1x2600mAh 18650.

Who in their right mind would pay £50 just for ONE measly 2600mAh battery when you can have 8x3400mAh quality made Panasonic or Samsung ones off amazon or even torchy??

christ.... even at 50% off the price is ridiculous.

That's a mugging,
made in China as well...
probably badged under lots of names.

I'm wary of these type and use a lipo safe bag every time I charge and store them...

They are being sold on planetX -- I dont know if they are bad or not, but since planetX is selling quite a lot of their products, one would assume they are good enough quality to be sold by them.
Yeah, I'm just wary of these type of batteries, anything lipo related.
I used a LiPo battery fro my radio work but all this balancing and failing cells etc kinda freaked me out.
I just adopted the bag for my front light batteries (just in case)
I love Sanyo Eneloops for rechargeables. Always found they hold the charge really well.

It has been a yucky horrible day here. Cold with rain/sleet/snow showers most of the day. Apart from an early walk and a wander round for some shopping I have done nothing else to speak of.

I read somewhere that Amazon basic batteries are(or were) Eneloops
must have a wee shuffty to see.

I use Ikea alkalines, awfy cheap and cheerful for regular use.

Yukky day here, Mo. I got a text to warn of black ice early am so that put any idea on the back burner. Gritter has just passed by, rain? or snow on its way from the west..
