Good morning campers. Another cold, dark day here. Another cack handed person here. :hello:
I'm beginning to think I'm the only normal one here.
Good morning:hello::hello:

Not snowing but bitterly cold, I won't be pedalling today unless the howling wind stops suddenly.
White Rose has snow.
Rain and windy here. Hopefully it'll stop by lunchtime as I want to pop to the library.

Mornin :hello:
Same here and it's getting worse. Bitter easterly. Maybe some sleety showers later too.
I had every intention of going out for a couple of hours, but the weather is horrible and is getting darker even at 10.30 in the morning. I shall take the dog out for an extra long walk and probably end up in the Mitre for a pint or three as a treat to myself.[/B¤:cheers::cheers::cheers:

What'll the dog have!

Morning?!?

Wonder if it's partly a weekend thing. All the regulars I meet on my walks during the week are lovely and will stop for a chat, but at the weekend there are folks out that walk in groups and take up the whole path and seem disinclined to move to let you past. The odd time I risk a hello I usually get looked at like I have horns. Lol.
Break out a nappy bag, and go to pick something left behind them. If the genuine article, throw the bag in front of them.

Biblical weather here today. Started sunny so got a wash out on the line. Thunder storm then rolled in off the mountains so we got the washing in and went shopping while the streets were flooding. Half an hour ago the rain stopped, 2 white doves appeared on the apartment opposite us and the sun came out - just in time to start sinking!

I've never really had any problems as folk I meet during the week are regulars and a cheery greeting is passed both ways.
The weekend has lots of those just out for a stroll and one or two are a bit slow in moving, I have on occasion stop and inform it is a shared use track etc etc.
It seems to be blokes who are the problem.
I have issued a few 'move yer ...............' I'm not shy, nobody's gonna hit an old man:laugh:

I do a lot of walking here and there are a few types I will always give way for such as the elderly and people with young children or bags of shopping. However, I just move over slightly then hold my line with the types who won't even shift an inch to share the path and force them to move and share like me or get shouldercharged - I wouldn't dream of either steping off the path or breaking my stride for such types. Most make room to share the path at the last moment but a few have been brushed aside. The ones that I've brushed aside have never said a word - must be my killer eyes!!
