How do Teaites

Today I have mostly been having "issues" with work Management & catching up with some absconders, amigos & reprebates from the Peoples Republic of TeaLandia on the Book of Faces.

*I finally succumbed to FaceAche*

There's at least half a dozen of "me" on there, possibly even more.
And none are me!!

I am currently trying to wind down from work after being wound up by work, or should I say by management who wanted to set up a sneaky meeting with just me, a manager & a supervisor *both of whom are bosom buddies* in a meeting room away from other eyes.

I politely refused & involved my Union Rep, I am also considering involving H.R as I suspect a witch hunt.

It all stems from being asked to air our "issues" with duty scheduling & as the suits do not like noise or anyone touching their apple cart & having done both, I now believe they are setting me up for a fall.

All this might sound far fetched, however they have form for this sort of behaviour.

Dictaphone with a cheap wired microphone and record the meeting.
Having placed your handset on the table to record it. They'll knock the handset off/insist it's knocked off, leaving you free to carry on recording on the dictaphone.

Failing that, howabout a bug and transmit it to anyone that knows where to tune to?

Develop a thick skin my friend. I too was too outspoken in my workdays and I know 'they' were just waiting for an excuse - I just never facilitated their plans, outlasted all my enemies, rose to a senior position and retired on a very nice pension!!
