It's that bad when walking hard uphill - didn't do the coastal paths today. Sun down now though - time to get into the black. Thinking about it, getting into too much of the black stuff last night may have been part of the problem this morningCanna be that bad! stop complaining
@the_mikeyIt did, it works ok on 10m and really well on 6m, on other bands it's better as a RX antenna than a TX antenna.

Works a treat, each of the copper wires is 68 mm, 45° legs, just over 120 mm tall.(N socket)
The most efficient is

Note the use of the butchered coke can, the SDR dongle is attached to the collinear and fits into a right angle USB extension. It works well out to about 220 nm, I'll keep saving the data and get a footprint of the coverage.
I've some other things to try but I can catch almost everything except to the S, SW and SE. At 1090, drop off is quick plus LOS isn't an option. I'm getting over 400 individual planes most days.
