Morning. I have been out for a chilly early spin. Was hoping after nearly a week off that the legs might have felt rejuvenated and stronger than they have been but can't say I noticed.
My shoes that I thought I got a bargain of ended up rubbing my feet nearly raw and then to top it all, a couple of deer belted over a field to jump the fence and cross the road before I got to it. First one jumped and made it over and second ran full pelt into the fence. I think it must have broken it's neck. I went back and the poor thing was lying twitching and obviously in pain. Felt useless not being able to do anything. Wish I could have put it out of it's misery. It twitched for a couple of minutes then gave up the ghost.
I know there are loads of them but it upset me. I am such a softy.
