How did the car driving go a while back?
It's not very nice here this morning. Murky and dull but hopefully to stay dry. Off for my usual early wander.
That isn't abroad. That's the centre of the universe. Everywhere outside Devon is abroad.
I had to chuck a dust-sheet over our 3 new fruit trees last night, as we had quite a hard frost (-4, apparently), but it looks like being a beautiful day. I'm stuck in front of the computer for a few hours, mores the pity.

Shoved off the road by one of their bus drivers, on purpose. They're also the local train operator, but couldn't promise any train would be running. So two wheels & pedal power worked out just as quick.
No volunteer to sit in the car, never went ahead. Licence got returned.

I am going to get a white rose flag for when Hubster gets his recumbent trike
Chatting with @voyager last night, she uses a Union Jack or a St Georges flag, but I thought that a nice Yorkshire rose would be better for Hubster, being a Yorkshireman and all that. I just need to find one, so if anyone has seen such a beastie, a suitable size for a recumbent trike, I would dearly love to know about it. I am happy to trim and sew to make it fit. Looking about on Ebay currentlyIn the meantime, need more coffee!

Nope. I mean North Cornwall.............you mean West Devon.
I like Devon though. Lovely place, not mad about Exeter though.
Just had my Housing Officer woman on the blower. She says that she is aiming at a new tenancy date of either 8th May or 15th May for 'extremely North Norfolk'. Very chuffed about that
South Devon doesn't really count. Devon proper doesn't start until you get to the southern edge of Dartmoor.

I got lost on Dartmoor, out riding. I did the sensible thing, dropped the reins and let the horse find his way back. He nearly did, he got me to a fence, which we followed to a road and then found signs and then a phone box. Getting lost on Dartmoor is not recommended as an afternoon/evening's jolly.
