Morning WD,

Catastrophe in the garden yesterday..........our star three year old ornamental hawthorn, laden with blossom, snapped in half in the wind. I had to ring my wife at school and warn her. She was so upset. The good news is that it is raining this morning. Not hard, but it's definitely raining! Yay!!

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Bad luck Mike, but as you say, at least we have some much needed rain.

Morning. We have much dullness here this morning.

I have had an early spin just in case the rain decides to make an early appearance. Bloomin nightmare over Auchterarder/Gleneagles way with road closures and diversions. I lifted the bike through barriers and along the pavement at one point to get round rather than go back.

Laid waste to a few road workers, I hope. :boxing:

I love to wind them up if they are standing around, it gets a bit sweary at times:laugh:

Too early for them. Probably just as well as they might not have liked me moving their barrier to get through. Lol.

Seem to be laying a big new waterpipe near Gleneagles. Been going on for weeks but this was the first day it has actually been closed. Not sure what the other closure further into Auchterarder is for.

Scottish Water is closing the road over the back of the golf course for 3 weeks so that cuts out some stuff for me.
Tons of work being done in the local area.
Gotta say as it's a public contract the roads have been kept pretty clean...
a sweeper constantly working.

I'm curious to know why Donald Duck referee points somewhere when issuing a yellow card. I can only think that the sport must be rugby union, because there, a yellow card means sitting the game out for 10 minutes. In that round-ball game that some people follow, the one for millionaire actors, the yellow card means nothing at all, and certainly doesn't mean the miscreant has to go anywhere.
