Tell me about it. Three years now and I still have flashbacks of that few seconds knowing how hard I was going to hit the ground and then the sickening pain and nausea as I lay there not knowing how much damage I had done. Certainly makes you more cautious.
I've had a couple spills on the motorbike, nothing serious apart from t-boning a Nova and got a bit bashed about. My oldest asked why Dad was changing colour:laugh:
Safety first, Mo.
I'm a terrible descender and have been taken the hiss out me about it on occasions, that's maybe why I prefer my own company (face it, Bob, nobody likes you) at times.
It's a dangerous way to make a living.

I could have popped in and nicked all your bikes if I'd have been going up the road:laugh:

welsh dragon

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
It was indeed a horrible crash yesterday. The B4404 is still covered in that tiny grey gravel stuff. I thought they would go over it with hot tar., but i'm not sure they will do that now. Its a very steep downhill section, and with the gravel its really dangerous. I can see accidents happening on bikes if anyone has to put their brakes on. Some serious injuries will happen. Yesterday was the first time ever that i have considered walking downhill with a bike.. I went down very slowly and gingerly.....

Dull but dry here. :hello:

I'm a bit tired as Mrs B was doing a fair bit of wandering last night. However, Prime day starts on Amazon today and I'm in the hunt for a deal on quality headphones so I'm  and :hyper: and :scratch:after searching all the reviews over the last couple of days. I don't have a good local shop to test any of my choices so it'll be pot luck as to personal suitability.

Best avoiding, I cycled up one just surface dressed and the back tyre just deflated,
I'd one of the 'Tyreweld (bike)' things which when applied came out all over the place but my fault as tyre should have been changed earlier. I walked back the 400 yards to where I'd come in, fitted a new tube..

They lay tarmac on the country roads here first then 12 months later, surface dressing takes place. The theory is it extends the life of the surface.
Horrible, as it gathers on the sides, middle and more dangerously on the edge of corners, nah, your right, avoid.
They are supposed to come back a month(?) after spreading to clean up any excess chips, aye, right.

Good Morning :hello:
Twast't too bad.
Good morning. We have rain at the moment. :rain::hello:
Good morning @MikeG . Less rain can be good and bad.

Its called lumping more than 1 post together under i post. @MikeG .
Eggs in one basket
Morning WD.

We haven't. We get less rain than Jerusalem and Johannesburg. Parts of the Kalahari get more rain than this part of East Anglia.
Thought it was Suffolk, not Anglia (Deluxe)
Morning. We have dull and drizzly again. Today and tomorrow is much the same. Just hoping it remains at a drizzle as my new windows are getting fitted.

Another coffee then I better go and extract Tia from her bed and move her through to the living room and try and get her settled before they arrive.

I'll maybe head over to visit dad later as I don't fancy listening to all the hammering and banging and they are a local and trustworthy firm so no worries about leaving them I don't think.
Too late, the porridge will be gone!

Morning!

Where's Friday.gif

Hope you don't get too worried over the first bit.

Thanks Classic. I think I'll have to get used to Mrs B wandering so I'm not going to let it worry me too much. I'm used to loss of sleep, however, I may have to think of internal locks - if that can be a safe option. I just don't know.

It might be worry on her part as well that's not helping matters. No expert, just a personal opinion.

Sleep is over-rated anyway.
