Sounds like a good night blue

Should be; for some reason Tuesday is often the best night for the Irish bar.
We go to a Cypriot bar at the weekends and it's one frequented by Cypriots only almost 100% of the time. It's often funny to us as it's usually a bar full of Greek Cypriots and 2 'others'(us)! However, because I can sing a couple of dozen Greek songs ranging from old traditional to 90's folk rock and modern pop and Mrs B can sing 2 modern Greek songs herself we are very well received and supported. Judging by the reactions we get I think we are a curiosity to young and old alike as they don't have any previous experience of tourists or ex-pats doing what we do. As for us, we just love the feeling of integration.

Might as well close the thread & call it a win for those who always wanted it gone.

Sad thing is many of us also contributed to other threads. I know in the past I tried to support beginners, welcome newcomers and offer any advice I could on tyres, equipment, clothing, etc.

It is all a bit sad, but I'm glad we have found a happier place where we can have relaxed, pleasant discussions together.

I will probably only log in here once in a blue moon now as it has definitely lost something.
