I do chat on some bands..
I use data modes, JT65 mostly..
due to staying in an urban environment and with postage stamp sized garden back and front, my antenna is pretty restricted..in fact it is hidden from view.
and that mode suits as it works well with low power.
103 countries worked so pretty chuffed...since 2009 although I've been licenced since the '80s..

I occasionally haul the stuff up hills to operate but not as much as I used to...
and of course, the Abertawe kid is one...
